Be Astronomical – Lexington
Calling all rocket masters to create a stomp rocket for summertime fun. Look up in the sky as we launch your creation! We’ll have a snack and a story too.

Join us for a universe of craftiness. On our last craft day of summer, July 31, we will be ending with a Big Bang making galaxy t-shirts! Bring your own shirt which has been washed and we will provide the rest.

Galaxy Shoes – Waverly
Who doesn’t love galaxy shoes and drawing with sharpie pens? This program is for those who want a pair of their own tie-dyed canvas shoes. You will have to provide your own pair of white canvas shoes. We provide the rest.

Kids in the Kitchen – Odessa
Kids in the Kitchen is a free program presented by MU Extension that encourages youth, 9-12, to eat healthier meals and snacks as a result of hands-on cooking experiences. The participants will learn how to prepare simple, healthy foods that they can make for themselves and for other family members at home. They will also learn good food safety practices.

Resume Building 2 – Continuing Education Class – Warrensburg
This class is open to new patrons and those looking to build on the skills we learned in the Resume 1 class. In this class we will focus on writing goal statements, creating a work history timeline and writing effective bullet points that document job responsibilities and duties. Records on online applications, job search engines, and professional websites will be covered. We will be using Google Docs.

Keep Calm and Graphix Con! – Concordia
Welcome to Concordia’s first-ever comic con event. This two-day event celebrates graphic novels and characters like Bone and Dog Man. There will be activity stations for comic drawing, photo-ops and snacks! Come in costume if you like.

Computer Applications-Continuing Education Class – Warrensburg
If you want to know how to use computer applications to write a cover letter, record/track a monthly budget, or create a presentation for a group, then this class is for you! In this class we will learn about two popular computer application suites, Microsoft Office and Google’s G Suite. We will focus on the following Microsoft programs and their functionalities: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. We will then compare those programs to Google’s complementary programs: Docs, Sheets, and Slides. These programs are primarily used for word-processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
