Join us for fun, free, and informative events for adults this month.

Craft Café – Lexington
Craft Café is an event for experienced or intermediate crafters who are looking for a challenge. This month, we will create Halloween-inspired canvas art. If you worked on canvas with us in April, bring back your work and we’ll add Halloween decor to the reverse side! Space is limited to 20. Visit the branch to view the project.

DIY Holiday Greeting Cards – Warrensburg
Give your holiday cards a personal touch this year by making them from scratch. We will have examples for inspiration. All supplies will be provided, but patrons are free to supplement with their own. This is a self-directed class.

Craftin’ Around – Corder
This craft program is designed to encourage people to be creative at any level of skill.

Microsoft Word: Basics–Continuing Education Class – Warrensburg
This class will cover setting up new documents, using templates, selecting fonts/justifications, page layout, saving, and printing Word documents. Group activities and lessons will help familiarize participants with the application’s tools. The library will provide six devices. If you have Microsoft Word downloaded, feel free to bring your own device.

Morning Mingle – Waverly
Come and enjoy a morning of fun, games, trivia and much more. Light snacks will be served.

Decorative Sweater Pumpkins – Warrensburg
Get in the spirit of the season with this fun fall decor craft. You will learn how to create an adorable pumpkin from repurposed sweaters. The sweater material will be provided, or feel free to bring the fabric of your choice. Participants will need to bring at least one full roll of toilet paper per pumpkin, with a maximum of three.

Second Time Around Crafts – Lexington
This beginning crafting group will be making a mummy on a bedspring. Visit the branch to view the project.

Harry Potter Wizarding Room – Odessa
Nautilus Quirrell, son of Professor Quirrell, has stolen a Horcrux. Now it’s up to you, a group of former wizarding students to find and destroy the Horcrux before it can be used for evil.

Microsoft Word: Intermediate–Continuing Education Class – Warrensburg
This class will cover editing tools and features, styles, inserting images, clip-art, word-art, tables and graphs in Word documents. Group activities and lessons will help familiarize participants with the application’s tools. The library will provide six devices.
