“Rightfully Hers” Exhibit

Image: 19th Amendment Pop-Up Exhibit Rightfully Hers

Trails Regional Library is excited to partner with the Missouri Humanities Council to host the “Rightfully Hers” exhibit to share the rich history of women’s suffrage January 27-March 6 at the Warrensburg, Holden, and Odessa branches. The ratification of the 19th Amendment was a landmark moment in American history that gave women the right to vote. This pop-up display contains simple messages about the expansion of the vote to millions of women, before and after the 19th amendment, and its impact today. This exhibit was created by the National Archives and is presented in part by the National Archives Foundation through the generous support of Unilever, Pivotal Ventures, Carl M. Freeman Foundation in honor of Virginia Allen Freeman, AARP, and Denise Gwyn Ferguson. To view the display, stop in to one of the branches during its time there.
