Due to extended social distancing measures being practiced by our partners, local schools, and state agencies, Trails Regional Library will extend its physical location closure through April 30. All branches will tentatively re-open on Friday, May 1. All due dates and current holds have now been extended through May 15. No fines will accrue during the closure. All book drops remain locked, so please keep your materials until the library re-opens.
Trails Regional Library administration continues to monitor the COVID-19 public health crisis closely and is prepared to take necessary action to mitigate risks for staff, patrons, and the community. Any changes to the current closure schedule will be shared on our website, social media, and through email to our cardholders. We appreciate the public support during this time and hope to continue providing remote, digital access to our patrons until we can re-open our physical locations.
We continue to respond to emails through our website contact form and social media messages. Patrons with expired cards or fines will have access to our digital collections on OverDrive and Hoopla regardless of account blocks. We are also issuing temporary digital access cards during our closure for those without current library cards. Visit trailslibrary.org to complete an application and a librarian will get in touch with you to set up your new account.
Please do not hesitate to contact us and library staff will respond promptly for help with resources.
Thank you for your continued patience. Stay safe, and if you can, stay home.
