The Last Train to Key West
Author: Chanel Cleeton
Staff Review – Jacqueline, Lexington Branch: It was my favorite of the Cuba Saga. Having lived in Florida, it brought back so many wonderful memories. It also had 3 main characters and intricately wove their stories together.

News of the World
Author: Paulette Jiles
Staff Review – Carol, Warrensburg Branch: This National Book Award finalist was my favorite book of 2017 (when it was published) but now it’s about to open in movie theaters with none other than Tom Hanks playing the lead! The book is only 240 pages, so read it first–you know the book is always better–before the movie comes out on December 25th!
