What is Books By Mail?
Books, audiobooks on CD, and DVDs delivered to patrons who cannot get to a library branch because of health, mobility, advanced age, permanent or temporary incapacity. Only qualifying residents of Trails Regional Library’s two-county service area are eligible for this free service.
How do I participate?
Step 1:
Print the Homebound Certification Form and have a certified healthcare professional or professional caregiver complete the required fields. You can pick up the form at any Trails Regional Library branch or request the form be mailed to you here.
Step 2:
Print and complete the Books By Mail Ordering Form. Staff will use your preferences to prepare your books for delivery. You can update your preferences on the form included in your delivery packet at any time after your first delivery.
Step 3:
If you have questions, requests, or would like to discontinue your Books By Mail service, call the library at 660-747-1699 ext. 7116.
